God
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, holy, and infinitely perfect. We believe that God eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and desires to have a relationship with all who would call on His name.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, one Person in two natures. Jesus was born of a virgin and lived a perfect and sinless life. Jesus willingly died on the cross, in our place, to redeem us of our sins. On the third day, He rose from the dead, conquering death, so that through His resurrection, we may have eternal life. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a full and equal part of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives gives us assurance of our inheritance in Christ. The Holy Spirit enables us to use our spiritual gifts to glorify God, to edify the church, and to be a blessing to others.
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, and Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. The Church consists of a community of believers who have been justified by God’s grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ, and who have been baptized as a sign of obedience and as an outward expression of an inward decision to declare Jesus as Lord.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. The Holy Bible was written by human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to communicate God’s Truth to all of humanity. The Bible is without error and it is relevant today for teaching, guiding, counseling, convicting, connecting and comforting us as we strive to navigate our life in pursuit of God’s purpose and plan for our lives.
Man
We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image. Mankind was created to be in fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. No matter how hard we try, none of us can earn our way back into right standing with God. Only through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ can we become righteous in God’s sight.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is made possible only through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ, by the shedding of His blood to pay the penalty for our sins. The sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on our behalf is sufficient to cover all of our sins – past, present, and future. Salvation takes place when people choose to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead.
Christian Living
We believe that once we receive salvation and become justified by faith, the Holy Spirit will begin to work in the believer’s heart, renewing us and sanctifying us, setting us apart for God’s work and purpose in our lives. We believe that all believers are called to share in a common cause of praise and purpose. We were created to bring praise, honor, and glory to God. We were created with a purpose to make Christ known to the ends of the earth.
Christ’s Return
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again, as promised in the Scriptures. Only God the Father knows when that exact moment will take place. The return of Jesus Christ should motivate believers to live a godly life as well as encourage us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people.
Eternity
We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to Jesus Christ. Those who do not accept God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ will be eternally separated from God in a place called hell. Those who do accept Jesus Christ as Lord will be in union with God for all of eternity in a place called heaven.
